Our motivation behind starting #pressbeyond is because of Clarita Mays (Natashia’s aunt) and Joe Barnes (Chris’s close friend), whom we lost to scleroderma and cancer. We want to recognize that fitness not only keeps you healthy, but could prevent certain illnesses from happening. Chris is a NPC (National Physique Committee Bodybuilding Federation) competitor and recognized nationally; striving to obtain his pro card. He believes that if you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready. Natashia has a passion for people and is a certified health coach. Her world was rocked at the age of 25, when she had bilateral hip replacements. It brings her much excitement to help others that is going through or have gone through physical challenges; helping preserve through their challenges and focusing on not only physical, but the internal transformation as well.
